Tertairy programme 2007
Ani O’Neill made visits to Auckland University of Technology, Elam, Unitec and Whitecliffe.
A tangible outcome from the Tertiary Visit program: Volunteers where called for to work with Ani O’Neill at the Tagata o le Moana Festival in Wellington, celebrating Te Papa’s 10th Anniversary over Labour Weekend 2007. Seven tertiary students from four Auckland institutions accepted the offer to travel to Wellington. These young women (most of whom did not know each other prior to this trip) formed a special bond and have become the Li’l Mama’s Art Klub. They have since appeared at other festivals and have exhibited together.
